Dimensions: Approximately 12¼” x 9½” x 1½”.
Decoration:
The platter has a gilded edge.
The platter is decorated in the three-color Imari palette of underglaze blue with overglaze red enamels and gilding.
In the center is the image of a large carp with raised red and gold scales and raised blue fins, head, and tail. In the background are cartouches red and gold blossoms, interrupted blue and red gilded swirls.
The reverse is decorated with birds and floral sprays.
Three blue bands surround the foot.
The base is decorated with a blue band.
