Chinese export porcelain bowl, circa 1760.
Dimensions: Approximately 10” diameter x 4” high.
Decoration:
The exterior is decorated with two large panels of vividly painted domestic scenes, each with children and birds.
Two smaller panels are decorated with impressionistic plants and birds.
The interior has a chain link border and a cental image of a shepardess and two sheep.
The base is undecorated.
Condition: There are two fine hairlines running from the rim to the center, and there appears to be inpainting on four or five links of the interior chain border; otherwise, it is in excellent condition consistent with age and usage.
