18th C. Chinese Export Porcelain Blue & White Platter
Underglaze blue Chinese export porcelain octagonal platter, c. 1750.

Dimensions: Approximately 13⅛” x 10⅛”.
The border is decorated is edged with a floral and fish roe pattern.
The central scene is of a lake, with buildings, rocks, tree, and a bridge with two figures. The scene is very reminiscent of “Blue Willow” patterns found on English ceramics.
The reverse is undecorated and bears the remnants of a label.
Condition: Typical glaze imperfections on the face, possible repaired frit on the rim; otherwise in excellent condition consistent with age and usage.
