19th C. New Hall Chinoiserie Bowl – “Lady in the Window” Pattern
New Hall porcelain bowl in pattern # 425, listed as the “Window” pattern. Also referred to as “Girl in the Window”, “Boy in the Window”, or “Lady in the Window” pattern. Circa 1810.
Dimensions: Approximately 6” diameter.
The body of the bowl has repeated Mandarin style scenes and diaper and floral decoration. The scenes on the outside are first transfer-printed in black, then the outlines are filled in with color by hand. The diaper and floral decorations are entirely hand-painted.
The interior has a narrow arrowhead border and is decorated at the bottom.
The base is marked with the pattern Number, 425.

Condition: Rubbing to interior decoration, otherwise in excellent condition consistent with age and usage.
