Chinese Export Imari Teapot
Chinese export porcelain teapot, circa 1760.
Dimensions: Approximately 5” high x 8¾” across (including spout and handle).
Decoration:
The lid and body are decorated in Imari floral designs in underglaze blue with overglaze iron red and gilt highlights.
The lid has a gilt peach blossom knop.
The spout is curved and faceted, and the handle has a thumb rest. Both have blue feather decorations.
The base is not decorated.
Condition: The lid fits loosely; otherwise in excellent condition consistent with age and usage. Please examine the photos; they are part of the description.
