Chinese Export Rose Mandarin Monogrammed Cup & Saucer

Chinese export rose mandarin cup and saucer, circa 1850.
 
Dimensions: Cup approximately 3” tall.
                          Saucer approximately 5¾” diameter.
 
Decoration: 
The saucer is decorated with alternating panels of figures and birds bordered with C scrolls.
 
The background is decorated with colorful flowers on gold.
 
In the center is a gold monogram “LEG” surrounded by a gold band.
 
The reverse is undecorated.
 
The cup has the same backgound and similar panels of figures and birds as the saucer, and has the monogram.
 
The interior of the cup is bordered with a band decorated in the same manner as the background decoration of the cup and the saucer. 
 
The base is undecorated.

Condition: Slight rubbing to the monogram on the cup; otherwise in excellent condition consistent with age and usage. Please examine the photos; they are part of the description.
