Chinese export porcelain lidded cream jug, circa 1785.
 
Dimensions: Approximately 6½” x 5” (incl. handle).
 
Decoration:
The rim of the jug is decorated with gilt chain band and husk swag.
 
The body is decorated with a floral spray.
 
On one side is an unidentified likely European armorial, above which is a helmet and mantling with the crest. On the other side is a gilt monogram.
 
The lid is similarly decorated and has a molded finial. 
 
Condition: Losses to gilding on the finial; otherwise in excellent condition consistent with age and usage. Please examine the photos; they are part of the description.
