Pair of 19th C. Staffordshire Animal Form Brackets or Shelves
A pair of Staffordshire brackets in the form of a deer head and a horse head, c. 1870.
Dimensions: Each approximately 10” tall x 8’ wide x 7½” deep.
The features of each animal painted lifelike colors.
The brackets are in cream with gilded highlights.
The reverse of each is unmarked.
Condition: Losses to gilt highlights, minor fritting, possible professional restoration, but both are in excellent visual condition and are in excellent condition consistent with age and usage.
