Pair of Chinese Export Famille Rose Plates with Landscape Design
Chinese export porcelain octagonal plates, circa 1765.
Dimensions: Approximately 8⅝” diameter
Decoration:
The border is rimmed with a gilt band and has gilt flowers sprays with white and polychrome flowers.
The central scene is bordered with a gilt spearhead band.
It is decorated with detailed polychrome enameling of pavilions in a walled garden, trees, a bridge with figures, a boat, hills, houses, and birds.
The reverse is unmarked.

Condition: Some roughness to the edges, frit on reverse of one rim, minor gilding loss on border; otherwise in excellent condition consistent with age and usage. Please examine the photos; they are part of the description.
